How?
I design and develop courses that produce engaging and learner-centered experiences. Using my knowledge of adult learning theory, I collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to make recommendations on the best ways to make these experiences happen.
My Process
Using the ADDIE model, I work with clients using backwards planning and organization to create a memorable product that is learner-centered.

What is the goal of your project? It may not always be training.
What is the deadline of your project?
Let's discuss your project together in a 15-30 minute virtual or in-person meeting. This meeting will help me determine learning gaps and the best way for your employees to bridge that gap. Once we meet, I can then put together a timeline to create appropriate deliverables in alpha, beta, and gold versions. Using a timeline also allows us weekly check-ins for discussions and feedback.
Design
I will then create design documents and storyboards based on our timeline and what is appropriate for your needs. These documents may include a range of multimedia, including screencasting and video-based microlearning.
Develop
I then use feedback from the client and stakeholders to turn design documents and storyboards into a visually pleasing e-Learning course, Instructor-Led training, or short microlearning videos.

How I Work w/People
True adult learning does not mean an absence of fun or endless PowerPoints! As your Instructional Designer, I will work with you to create and facilitate engaging eLearning and instructional courses that involve you as the learner. Feedback and collaboration are essential; I am a patient and empathetic communicator who is skilled at building relationships with internal teams and clients.

When I'm Not Working...
My husband and I compete in weekly trivia nights - and usually win. We are fur parents to our two cats, Pangu and Pumpkin, and our dog, Buddy. Fun fact - two of our fur babies are international; we adopted Pumpkin and Buddy while working overseas. I am also an athlete; I do road races, obstacle course races, and triathlons. Currently, I'm training for a half-Ironman.
